Leave no trace
Every plan includes a pack checklist and local teahouse etiquette notes.
From the trail
Hikers who found their crew
Found two hikers for Mardi Himal on a Tuesday, summited by Friday. The plan PDF was spot on.
The elevation profile saved us — we knew exactly where the 1,200m climb was and paced accordingly.
As a solo woman hiker, verified buddies + gender filters made the difference.
Trail questions
Before you plan
Do I need a guide?
For well-marked teahouse treks (Poon Hill, Mardi Himal) no — but our plans always note where a guide is strongly advised.
What permits do I need?
TIMS card for most treks; ACAP permits for Annapurna region and Sagarmatha National Park entry for EBC. Every plan lists exactly what applies.
How hard is the fit check?
We rate trails by daily ascent, altitude and trail condition, and suggest a 'test hike' from our day-hike list before big expeditions.
Is buddy matching safe?
Profiles are verified with government ID and a selfie check; plans are shareable but contact details stay private until you match.
What if the weather turns?
Plans include a weather window and a 'plan B' shorter route — our team sends alerts for active plans.
